Frank, this is brilliant. I have spent the last twenty years of my working life dominated by the lanyard class. I also remember working life before the lanyards and it was so much better - so much more human.
The managerial class love them and the power they imagine they bestow.
I always hated having to wear a lanyard (I was not a manager) but was penalised by HR for removing mine …
I look forward to Part 2. No one makes so much sense of this mad regime as you!
Absolutely brilliant. You could be writing about the, allegedly, quasi-homoseuxal Mark Carney with his twisted but bloodless past, his (Jimmy) Savile Row suits and his dowager's humped, Uriah Heep posturing. All the theories about a Lanyard Class are confirmed in that sorry, grey, joyless personage.
I thought the Lanyardie class were no better or worse than Jamaican Yardies , in so far as a managerial mafia operates.
Drugs ruin life like a Lanyardie weirdo taking people's livelihood away on "you will obey" our weirdo led directives and if you do not agree your family as well as yourself will be financially taken out.
What the Exorbitant Debts of Nations Have to Do with a Looming Nuclear Holocaust
The governments of the USA, Europe, and all the other nations belonging to the ruling class's empire have been borrowing money from the Federal Reserve, a privately owned central bank, for decades.
The nations can never repay their debts, and presumably, that was never the intention.
But have you ever experienced a bank not demanding payment of money owed?
If we can't repay a loan, the bank takes everything we own—valuables, house, land, etc.—until the loan is paid off.
The Federal Reserve will likely do the same.
The nations and their respective governments are liable with real assets or services that give the Federal Reserve even more power and influence.
Our governments, of course, don't tell us this. Our governments are known to lie to us nonstop; all governments, regardless of party affiliation.
So how do governments repay their debts?
I think they do this in many ways.
First of all, it must be stated that all governments of the so-called Western world are subservient to the Federal Reserve. They obey its every word.
Need an example?
In 2008, the Federal Reserve's fiat money system was—once again—on the verge of collapse. The Federal Reserve itself and the major banks subordinate to it were solely to blame. In a mixture of greed and incompetence, they had brought the system crashing down.
The only right thing to do, and the best thing for everyone, would have been for the entire financial system, and thus the banking empire of the so-called Western world, to collapse.
The Federal Reserve should have been abolished, and its owners should have been held accountable.
Of course, a collapse of the monetary system would have led to temporary inconveniences and upheaval for everyone.
The horror scenarios presented to the public—namely, that everyone would lose all their financial assets and the market economy would be irrevocably destroyed—were completely absurd. It was the familiar, typical fear-mongering of a psychopathic ruling class, designed to lead us into insane solutions that are maximally bad for us and maximally advantageous for the ruling class. In this case that meant, bailing out the banks—the perpetrators, the criminals—with our tax dollars.
The major banks, and especially the owners of the Federal Reserve, possess vast amounts of real wealth.
We don't know exactly which private individuals own the Federal Reserve, nor do we know the extent of their wealth.
However, we do know that it is a small group of individuals whose wealth far exceeds that of Elon Musk or the richest oil sheikh.
The owners of the Federal Reserve are—in all likelihood—by far the richest and most powerful individuals in the world.
We are dealing with an unprecedented inequality of wealth and power!
And this inequality is not based on merit, intelligence, or competence, but on ruthlessness, fraud, theft, blackmail, mass murder, and insatiable greed.
As with any bankruptcy or fraud, this wealth should have been used to pay out the victims.
And we are all ...

Sounds a lot like "the Insiders", about whom, at least seventy years ago, Robert Welch, in particular, warned. He founded the John Birch Society, in order to educate people about them. Visible manifestations, mostly obviously, the Communists and their USSR and PDRC. Birch Society still exists, and it still sells 'banned' books. The ones which tell you what you are not supposed to know. When you know it, you will see through much of the propaganda about which Mr. Wright is concerned. Plenty of other "countercultural" material is available. I live Catholic life, in Jesus Christ, and nothing can take our King away. Oh, yes, Mr. Welch was well aware of the influence, and the evil, of Keynes in economics.
Excellent overview of why we have developed and are now piloting https://co-oplab.com as a process and platform. Quick overview below and would love to discuss:
Co-op Lab - Private Co-Owners Association - Philosophy, Process, Systems
The Co-op Lab process unveils opportunities to explore, discover, connect, organise, develop and invest in the greatest untapped resource on Earth: our living infrastructure.
Co-op Lab members own and develop their own platform to serve their requirements and aspirations as ‘’co-operators’’. So, we, the living infrastructure, can employ our own ‘’digital toolsets’’ in our own self-service.
Meantime, we can invest our money, skills, time, knowledge, goods and services in our own collective well-being; generating debt-free Local currency in the process.
Initially matching offers and needs, the framework unveils choices for inclusion and participation previously unknown. Essentially, we can evolve our own ‘’Market-Space’’ based on our requirements and aspirations as co-owners co-operating for common good.
‘’Well-Being Villages’’ platform provides the intelligence layer to re-evaluate existing capacities and unveil what would otherwise remain hidden. By choosing co-operation, we can develop organisations and projects that support the social value of well-being that increases savings to public expenditure.
A comprehensive ‘’community audit’’ unveils:
• What is available, happening already and possible
• What value is being created and not recognised
• What opportunities, assets and investment potential are available
In effect, local co-operators can choose to invest money, skills, time, knowledge, goods and services in their own well-being, while generating debt-free currency.

I love your humour, Frank. Without it, this would be a discheesing read.
