I agree. They are going insane. It was always going to happen. They got the power. They marched through the institutions. They made the laws. And what happened? Where is their utopia? Where is their egalitarian paradise? All we see is hate and bile. Some of the comments from the progressives about Kirk are disturbing. They are truly lost. They are certainly not anchored to reality.

But I agree it is all coming to an end.

The way the system worked relied on mobilising feeling into products, like Floyd and masks, equality and racial justice. It’s all just fury, and all the names they call you just permit them to destroy and kill you. The system used to permission and reward thjs and now it won’t. All that’s left is the “homeless moral passions” of these nihilists. That is, there’s nothing there but madness in what it sees as a target rich environment.

Yes, They are certainly doing themselves no favours ranting online about Kirk's death.

Being insane isn’t a good career move anymore.

Dear Frank, I don’t disagree with most of your essay but I really don’t think it is anything like complete. The consumerism isn’t the cause, it’s a psy op. Both the left and the right work together, one creates the problem and the other the solution. That solution is always taking away more of our freedoms. I have no idea who is the Wizard of Oz and I’m not sure what their objective is, but it isn’t benign. The killing of Kirk, especially at this time, is a calculated plot to create civil unrest and I fear it will both here and the USA. Nothing is as it seems, one cannot believe anything other than one’s own observations, so when it gets too much, I look out on my garden which only varies with the seasons and take joy in its consistency. I also reflect upon the idea that there are only 2 kinds of people in the world, those you love and those you are yet to love.

High profile assassinations often remain mysterious mysteries - even when the find the shooter.

It’s normal to find everything dubious after a century of lies.

I’d still maintain the culture created in that time has driven people out of their minds - and monetised it. Its lies are obvious now and can’t be maintained. Different times for a change.

I don’t think there is going to be a civil war in the US, or UK. I wouldn’t put any evil past the management but I don’t see that happening, though I’d get far more clicks if said I did lol.

I agree, no civil war but I think there will be unrest in the same way there was after George Floyd because Kirk was a much more appealing guy. It’s all interesting stuff though isn’t it? I’m glad you don’t stoop to peddle fear, it is so unhealthy.

It is interesting, and I would never rule out shenanigans. I think the strategy of tension is there in a sort of vestige, but I don’t see the competence in the system you had in the Cold War, or even in the 90s.

I think you’re right about unrest etc. I expect more and not less crazy. Watch out, and learn well the difference between fear and danger.

Another banger of an essay, Frank. Right on the money, as usual.
