Thanks, Frank. This is excellent. Love this line: "What has been done by men can be undone by men. Be a Man."

Frank Wright's avatar

Life is about choices - even for little men like me. I’m glad you liked it and thank you for telling me!

The Inmate's avatar

Exactly. And most of us are "little men" in the best sense of that phrase.

"…for the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.”

– George Eliot (1819-1880), Middlemarch

Choice has never existed, ChristNigger.

I totally agree—

"What has been done by men can be undone by men. Be a Man."

and

"I do realise much we are told is false, and the baddies have their networks, but I do not believe we should believe everything is captured forever."

Thank you for expressing this so clearly.

There are some absolutely brilliant, brave people on the internet explaining how deep the corruption goes, but they can be a little depressing.

Your article is really helpful, thank you for providing the Christian perspective of hope.

Frank Wright's avatar

Thank you Thalia. Such talk is not only not true, it is demoralising, and I believe it is motivated by conceit.

Will Martin's avatar

It is true, you're retarded and a ChristNigger.

"I also believe the only power that is eternal and changeless is that of God Himself."

Ditto. I began 2020 believing "in humanity" (retch) and ended 2024 believing in God.

And so, applying my very own, patented pattern-making system, I observe and then withdraw to do the only worthwhile and sensible thing: I pray.

Only the power that is eternal and changeless can save us to save ourselves.

DO NOT BLACK PILL. Persevere to the end. God likes to see fighters who put up a good fight. One of my biggest hurdles was giving Satan too much credit as an organizer of worldly powers against the people subservient to them. I didn’t so much think that men at the top of the social hierarchy had an unbreakable plan, I thought Satan did, and he would use whoever to make sure that plan kept going. Although Satan is a mighty foe against humanity, his power and influence are limited to what God allows in this giant world of interlocking free wills. And ultimately Jesus Christ defeated this adversary on the cross with a promise to always be our truth in a world where lies like to fight for our full attention.

What’s your solution then? Offer ideas if you’re willing.

There isn't a solution; there is only Eternal Misery. Nothing can be done except SUFFAH.

Marvellous, Frank. Another brilliant and inspiring essay!

mr.wright...one of your best, easily.....have a beautiful new year, and thank you!

Thank you for this excellent essay, Mr Wright!

I think some doomers might just be psyops themselves - in order to instill apathy and inaction in people. It's working quite well on a number of people, so, am glad you're addressing this "doomerism" in a way that's clearly God-inspired and rational.

Helpmeets to harm in some cases, self harm as vengeance in others, some certainly appear to be carrying water for the Enemy of Mankind.

It is wise to reject the false gospel of despair. This is for practical, material and human reasons as well, of course, for the fact that faith in Jesus Christ forbids it.

Thank you Frank ! Hope is key in these times!

Amen and Amen! I recommend the downers try reading Jeff Childers at coffeeandcovid here on substack... he's an eternal optimist and a much better way to start the day than listening to emotionally unstable people react to whatever is being fed them.

Perhaps not "everything" is a psyop of fake, but enough of it is, which makes you wish to get away from the mediasphere as soon as possible and just live your life as far away from everything as you can. I personally with I could be a medieval monk copying manuscripts somewhere in the Alps unaware of anything that happens in the world and then die of the plague at 36. Alas, it is not possible and it hasn't been since 1439...

But on a more serious note, yes, it is possible for everything to be a psyop and for "them" to get control of everything, if they get assistance from demons or other supernatural entities. (Have you read Bruce Charlton's blog?) Of course, Jesus wins in the end, etc. But in the meantime, it's not fun for us who get to live in the End Times (or something similar to it).

Also. I don't like or trust Trump, at all. He seems to be a puppet playing the role of "troll president". Tariffs as political tool? Sending money to the Ukraine and bombing Iran then talking about"ending 8 wars"?(??!!) Taking Greenland, really? What does that accomplish?

Oh well. But thanks for the text, it was actually really nice. I just like to complain, sorry. :D Yes, I'm a Doomer.

Frank Wright's avatar

Thank you Tom for your sincere contribution and I do not dismiss your concerns entirely. I do dismiss the notion that all is captured entirely, and also that the media mindmelt of constant information does not a reliable picture of reality make. I think you sound like a jolly decent fellow and I will pray for you my friend, as I hope you will for me. God bless you Tom.

Beautifully written, good sir, and much-needed, perhaps especially amongst the self-described “awake” or Awakened. And Aliens, too.

Frank Wright's avatar

Ayylmaos? In my comments?

Thank you for your compliments about my writing JCoM. It has taken me many years to go on as I do.

Being Awoke does look like a cognitive short circuit. Burnout as cope, if you like. Some (not all) also seethe at anyone who still believes in reality. Of course there are shenanigans afoot, but to say all is captured and nothing can be done is an excuse to do nothing (and feel better about really knowing nothing either).

ThothStudio (JCofMars)'s avatar

(Sorry for another late reply.) I'm not sure what Ayylmaos means but I have a feeling it's referring to where my comment is in relation to the comments and/or the essay. I meant to comment right "under" the essay itself since that's what the "Reply" button seemed to indicate would happen, rather than to be inserted into the comments somewhere. So, I either pressed the wrong speech bubble by mistake or I used the app instead of the browser version and it did whatever it wanted with me, or none of the above.

Still and all, I believe you understood I was referring to the essay proper, and thanks for your reply.

Frank Wright's avatar

This confounded platform does things like that all the time.

Apart from that, I also have the annoying habit of dropping stupid old memes into replies.

Ayylmao is one. It’s about 14 years old and just refers to the periodic online buzz about aliens (“ayliums” , plus mockery “lmao” - > ayy lmaos)

ThothStudio (JCofMars)'s avatar

Haha! That’s funny and no way would I ever have remembered that, so very good and cryptic of you.

Frank Wright's avatar

I'm sorry for the trouble and glad I could bring you a sensible chuckle in the end JC.

JD's avatar

Stopped reading when it said 14 minutes to read, I don’t have that kind of time for your grifting and I suspect you’re controlled opposition anyway. Thanks for the warning tho.

Frank Wright's avatar

TLDR birds aren’t real

JD's avatar

I saw that one, lol

Frank Wright's avatar

Best one yet. Even my Mrs laughed and she thinks birds ARE real.

JD's avatar

Haha. Remember that one you had ages ago with the cross wife in the house saying “I’ll punish him by ignoring him all day” and the frame below is him on his tractor saying “what a lovely, peaceful day.” Even my wife laughed at that one.

Bottom line: turn off the TV and look out your window. Plus: anyone who memes as excellently as thee, says Trufax and attends TLM gets a subscribe harder vote.

Frank Wright's avatar

What a lovely thing to say. I’m so glad those menes bring you a sensible chuckle Jeron. Thank you for your ever so kind words.

Having thrown an old telly down the stairs once I can confirm they do go explodo. That’ll learn em.

Tom Ruane's avatar

Thank you Frank. This has given me more motivation to quit all news and social media for Lent.

Frank Wright's avatar

It will probably do you a lot of good my friend. God bless you Tom. It is easy to give up on life, but it is better to try to be less bad in our habits of mind. That’s what I try to do. I’m less bad than I was, let’s put it that way lol

Tom Ruane's avatar

Right. I don’t need any more evidence that evil can be found in many places and things. All we can do practically is to try harder to make ourselves better in God’s eye.

Steve's avatar

Thanks for another tremendous piece, Frank. All of this seems to boil down to that selfish --and ultimately demonic--delusion that it's all about "me." As Chesterton countered the expression about "having to sleep in the bed you've made," with "a bed that was made can be unmade," we do have agency. And Christ said all things are possible with God--when we cooperate with Him. Finally, I cracked up at your "Women are a psyop but from God, not the CIA..." My wife completely agreed with that statement, too!

Frank Wright's avatar

Yes Steve - in modern times it’s always Me Time, and we are all socialised to watch that clock. Time’s better spent clocking off of course!
