I hope you will have a chance someday to see better pieces of America. There are still some left. God grant that our work keeps them so and makes more, both here and in your home as well
Very much appreciated your write-up. Spent a year in D.C. upon joining the Foreign Service in 2011 and heading overseas. Have been back regularly since, and you've captured the reality of our D.C. in a pithy, poignant, and profound fashion. Wishing you continued success in your good endeavors; and consider joining us in Bozeman in November, should you still be stateside, and where two Brits—James Delingpole and Johann Kurtz—will also be present as event speakers. Intimate gathering, which would benefit greatly from your presence. www.arcata.live/2026-summit
God Bless you too, Frank. And all good God-fearing men and women out there.
What a sad state of affairs you described. It saddens me to see what has become of the west, destroyed from within. I'm in the autumn of life and managed to enjoy what was better, even if it now feels like ancient memories of a place long gone. I feel sad for my children and grandchildren that they inherit a mess I never wanted to bequeath them.

Amen to that B-Rex.
Excellent article! Truly excellent! Bravo! Bravo! Says this 7th generation American.
Welcome to the USA Frank. Our country is better with your footsteps upon it.
So many lovely places in the US and you stayed stuck in DC; the home of vipers and demons.
I hope you revisit one day and travel far from that place to see the magnificence of our country and the kindness of its true Americans.
Safe travels and look forward to your next piece!
Difficult being a rockstar. :)
