Never before have two candidates for the US Presidency illustrated the crisis in the West.

The political situation in the West is a story of how increasingly hostile elites have exacted an enormous price from their own populations in pursuit of their own ends.

The ruinous project of regime change, and its attendant social and demographic changes have undermined the national sovereignty of the satellite nations of the United States, which itself is witnessing a political campaign of lawfare to imprison a presidential contender.

This essay is not concerned with the personal flaws of the men concerned. It is not a defence of their views or conduct. It is a statement of the fact that the single issue which will decide the future of the West is revanchism.
