This second part is an attempt to show some of the forces which are shaping the future of Western culture. Having done away with God, it is now the turn of man to be outmoded. It is into this barbarism that Liberalism has descended.

Begun as a religion of mankind and vouchsafed by his dominant Reason, it ends in a revolution whose aim is to first derange, then devour its own children.
