I interrupt my series on the grievance business to bring you a brief update on measures to protect democracy from public opinion.

As censorship and propaganda increase to defend democracy from the people, it is important to note two things:

• Populism is a rejection of Liberalism

• The myths of the 20th Century are dying

Empires fall for a number of reasons. One is that people stop believing in them.

This is not about power, or politics, or even policies. It is the departing ghost of the corpse. What animates the animation we are told is reality?

If it ever had a soul, it is leaving the remains.

The geist of our Zeit is public opinion, and it has turned against a machine designed to manufacture it. This cannot be changed.

Everything the system does from now on makes things worse. For them.
