In this second part, I consider the capture of US power by a small fanatical faction - the neoconservatives.

Their partnership with the National Security state gave them powers beyond that of the President, to wrap in the flag an agenda directly opposed to the values of the American public.

This hijack of power resulted in the routine practice of subversion abroad - and the corruption of law and of democracy at home.
